Pick a Spot

In other states and cities, the basement is often targeted for these grown-up playhouses. In Southern California, however, our homes just aren’t built with a cellar in mind. The easiest and most obvious solution is an unused bedroom, but if you look around, you may find a few other locations waiting to be transformed. Outfit this spot with a good Wi-Fi connection, smart features, plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports. If it’s an outdoor space separate from your home, you may want to consider an exterior video camera for an added layer of security. If you really want privacy, you can add a video doorbell!

Be Flexible.
